The information in this article applies to:

  • DOVICO Timesheet
  • SQL Server 2005

Introduction:

The following article outlines the compatibility changes that must be configured to use DOVICO Timesheet  with SQL Server 2005.

Configuration:

Configuring the Database Compatibility Mode for DOVICO Timesheet

  1. Select Start, Programs, Microsoft SQL Server 2005, SQL Server Management Studio.
  2. Login and drill down to the DOVICO database(s).
  3. Right click on your DOVICO database(s) and select Properties.
  4. Select Options from the list on the left side of the window.
  5. Select SQL Server 2000 (80) in the Compatibility Level drop-down box.

Configuring Track-IT pro database manager to connect to a remote SQL Server 2005 installation

If your SQL Server 2005 installation is not on the same server as DOVICO Timesheet/Track-IT Suite, you will need to download install SQL DMO for SQL Server 2005 that is included with the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Backward Compatibility Components. This installation must be performed on the application server.
